Webinars
The following free webinars offered as an educational service to ACCET-accredited institutions.
Title IV – Program Integrity Regulations
Suggested audience: School directors; directors of education; career services directors; financial aid directors.
All institutions that participate in the Title IV, HEA federal financial aid programs are required to comply with the Program Integrity and Gainful Employment—Adding New Programs Regulations, effective July 1, 2011. Final regulations were published October 29, 2010. To assist schools in understanding and implementing these regulations, ACCET is sponsoring a series of three webinars, conducted by Kris Strom from Choice Consulting & Training Services, a financial aid consultant and ACCET volunteer, and Peggy Tiderman, Executive Director of DCI Career Institute. DCI is an ACCET member school located in Monaca, PA. Ms. Tiderman will provide a school’s perspective on implementing the regulations. The sessions will be moderated by Judy Hendrickson, Associate Director of ACCET.
Participants will be able to submit written questions on the webinar registration form, as well as during the webinars. ACCET particularly encourages school directors to attend the webinars, as many of these regulations have a significant impact on school operations, and implementation will require school management to commit time and resources across the board—not just in the financial aid office.
