Schedule of Review

The following accreditation review schedule has been established for the purpose of projecting and planning the administrative resources necessary for managing the reaccreditation process. All Accrediting Commission meeting dates are tentative and subject to modification at the discretion of the Commission. The application and eASER due dates will be closely adhered to; and, except for minor variations, no extensions will be approved except by written request to and approval by the Executive Director or his designee. Initial applicants for accreditation can not submit an eASER and will not be scheduled for an on-site evaluation until the application is accepted by the Application Review Committee with specific guidance for the scheduling within a given review cycle.

Note: Accreditation Workshops are held at the ACCET office and conducted in January, March, May, July and October/November (at the Annual Conference location), and the precise dates are published on the ACCET website. Attendance at such workshops is a mandatory prerequisite to the submission of an eASER, and institutions are strongly advised to register one or more senior staff persons for attendance well in advance of the eASER due date in order to enhance the intended benefits of the self review and preparations for the subsequent on-site team evaluation visit.
