Call For Comment

ACCET solicits comments from state and federal agencies and the general public regarding proposed changes to ACCET documents.

There are currently two calls for comment open until June 29, 2026.

    2. Proposed revisions include changes to the following Standards:
      1. Standard I.C. Planning
      2. Standard II.C. Human Resource Management
      3. Standard III.A. Financial Stability and Procedures
      4. Standard III.B. Tuition Practices
      5. Standard IV.C. Supervised Practical Experience
      6. Standard VI.B. Supervision of Instruction
      7. Standard VII.A. Recruitment
      8. Standard VII.B. Admissions/Enrollment
      9. Standard VII.D. Student Services
      10. Standard VIII.B. Attendance
  1. Call for Comment: ACCET Document 25 – Policy for New, Revised, and Existing Programs/Courses.
    1. Proposed changes can be viewed here.
    2. Proposed revisions include changes to the definitions of Interactive Distance Learning and E-learning, including a change from E-Learning to “Structured Asynchronous Learning.” These proposed revisions are intended to simplify the definitions and align with the Department of Education.
